Classes canceled at Redwood High School in Larkspur over threating voicemail, police say

LARKSPUR, Calif. -- Redwood High School in Larkspur has canceled school for the day Thursday after receiving a voicemail threatening the campus, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.

Staff at the school on Doherty Drive received a voicemail around 8 a.m. indicating a possible threat to the campus, and after contacting police, the decision was made to cancel classes for the day and close the campus.

Students were being sent home, and people are asked to avoid the area of the campus while police investigate.
